Glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) are a composite consisting of at least two different materials. The benefits of each material are united to achieve an overall effect. A binder or matrix and reinforcing material is commonly used to combine the physically differing raw materials.
GRP pipes are lightweight and easy to handle, corrosion-free, with a proven resistance to acidic environments in water and sewage systems.
Main applications include transportation of potable water, fire-fighting, irrigation; seawater, desalinated water; chemical and industrial waste, and sewage.
GRP pipes are produced in nominal, inner diameters ranging from DN 80 to DN 4000
mm, and in lengths from 6 metres upwards.
